Ella is an Alto 2 in Cadenza. She is a fourth year from San Francisco, CA and is double majoring in Environment, Geography, and Urbanization (CEGU) and minoring in East Asian Studies. When Ella isn’t singing with Cadenza, she enjoys going to aesthetic coffee shops, going for runs, and exploring new places in Chicago. Ella has been singing from a young age after blindly following a friend into a chorus audition in first grade and never turning back. Ella is so excited to enjoy her last year singing with Cadenza!!

Milla is a third-year student in the College studying Biology and Spanish. Outside of singing with Cadenza, she enjoys playing tennis and is part of the Club Tennis travel team. She is passionate about global and public health, and is one of the Co-Presidents of UChicago's chapter of United Against Inequities in Disease. She loves listening to music and her favorite artists include Hozier and Natalia Lafourcade. She's a coffee and tea lover, and despite trying to branch out and try new drinks, you'll always see her end up sipping a plain latte. She is very excited to sing with Cadenza this year!

Hi! I'm a second year from Princeton, NJ and I sing alto 1 (and some soprano 2). I joined Cadenza my first year and am acting as Co-Music Director and Publicity Chair this school year. When I'm not singing, I spend my free time volunteering, hiking, playing guitar, or eating :) I have also become a bit of a hot drink fanatic so I can always be found with either a coffee or tea in hand. I'm so excited for our upcoming concerts, tour, and retreat that we have planned for this year. I can't wait to see what this year will bring and to keep arranging music for the group!

Zaida is a first-year alto from D.C. Charese is a first-year at the college, who against all odds, is currently masquerading as soprano 1. Outside of Cadenza, she can usually be found stealing her dad’s music taste, or binge-watching romcoms (ideally with a cup of tea and a sweet treat) Charese has a soft spot for studying in Logan cafe and loves adding random old records to her collection. If you want to chat about the complex character arcs in shows like Gossip Girl, Arrow, and the Originals, or hear a detailed analysis of why her latest romcom obsession is the best one yet, she’s your girl! She's excited for all the adventures this year will bring and can’t wait to perform this year with Cadenza and get to learn from all the incredible talent around her!

Chloe is a Sop 1/Alto 2 and a first year at the college. Outside of Cadenza, Chloe can be seen dancing with the UChicago Maya Dance group or playing the piano in the Max P lounge at ungodly hours. She has an unhealthy caffeine addiction and will find any excuse to use maroon dollars for coffee. Chloe also loves working out and going for long walks where she can yap with friends. If spotted on campus, she will almost always be wearing her airpod maxes and blasting music with noise cancellation on. Chloe is so excited to be a part of Cadenza and make amazing music with amazing people!!
